about the work
“Under a relentless Georgia sun, Thomas lays down his brushes and listens to the hush between cicadas. Each brushstroke is his way of bottling that hush.. the moment when color feels warmer than skin and shadows hum like memories. He paints so you can keep that feeling close, even when your world feels like chaos. Collectors trust him; his work lives in the SCAD permanent collection, US Canva Corporate Offices, and has been featured in New Visionary Magazine, Friend of the Artist, The Red Branch Review, and Published internationally in his own hardcover book.”

PROCESS
Shaped by shifting light. Thomas begins each piece among the pines, chasing flashes of sun and shadow onto wet canvas, then refines those wild impressions back in his studio, where color and detail settle into balance. That blend of plein-air vitality and studio precision is why every print feels alive the moment it lands on your wall.

FAQ
-
Giclee is a fancy way of saying digitally printed. Every print is produced in collaboration with a local print shop here in Atlanta that uses pigment based inks on museum-grade surfaces. Paper editions are printed on archival, acid free 100% cotton paper - meaning that it wont degrade over time when kept in an appropriate environment (out of damp conditions, and not in direct sunlight without UV protection under glass). Prints on canvas are stretched on 1.5inch bars with mirrored edges to that the image wraps around the sides, and signed on the reverse with graphite. text goes here

Open Editions can be ordered anytime and in multiple sizes. Limited Editions are capped (for example, 20 prints per size), each one hand-signed, numbered, and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Once the edition sells out, that size will never be reproduced again.
-
Yes. Limited editions arrive signed and numbered on the front border. Open editions are also hand-signed on the reverse or border (depending on size) so that the signature never competes with the image.
-
Each print is custom printed and packaged just for you. Please allow 2-4 weeks for Giclees; originals usually ship within two weeks of purchase. You’ll receive tracking details the moment your piece leaves the studio.
-
Absolutely. Worldwide shipping is available at checkout, but additional charges may apply - due to worldwide trading restrictions and tariffs. Each piece is shipped out of Atlanta, GA, USA. Duties and taxes vary by country and are solely the buyer’s responsibility, but the studio will take every care to be open and transparent when finding the most effective shipping option.
-
Each print begins as an incredibly high resolution scan (over 400mb file size!) of the original painting that is color matched to the original painting and the pigments of the printer and adjusted accordingly - this process captures roughly 98% of Thomas’s palette. Each print is proofed by the artist under daylight bulbs in the studio to ensure a beautiful match to the original painting.
-
Yes. Email a quick photo of your wall (taken straight-on, with a tape measure or sheet of paper for scale), and the studio will send back a free digital mock-up so you can see exactly how each size fits the room.
-
Framing isn’t included, but we recommend a simple wood, white, or black molding with UV-protective glass. If you’d like a fully framed piece, let the studio know; Thomas can connect you with trusted framers who ship nationwide.
-
Yes to all of the above. Thomas accepts a small number of commissions each year and can also create hand-embellished prints with textured paint passages on top of the giclée. Email tfii@thomasflynnii.com to start the conversation.
